What is an OPay account?

An OPay account is a mobile wallet account that can be accessed from your own mobile phone anywhere and anytime! You just need to sign-up with your CNIC and phone number and then make all kinds of payments with your OPay account.


How can I create an OPay account?

Create your OPay wallet account by following these steps:
1. Download the OPay app from Google Play Store (Android) or the APP store (i0S).
2. Open the OPay app on your mobile phone.
3. Enter your mobile number and one-time password (OTP) .
4. Enter your own CNIC number and Date of Issuance on your CNIC and register.
5. Create your 4-digit PIN and your OPay wallet account will be created successfully.


Who can be an OPay mobile account subscriber?

All users can download the OPay app on their mobile phones from the App Store and Google Play.


Are there any restrictions on the networks of OPay app that allow users to create accounts?

No.


Can I create more OPay accounts on the same mobile number?

No, you can only make one OPay wallet account on one mobile number at a time.


How much does OPay cost to create an OPay account?

You can create an OPay wallet account for free.


Can I create an OPay account without CNIC?

No, the OPay wallet account can only be created with a valid CNIC to verify your identification.


Can I create more than one OPay account on one CNIC?

No, you can only create one OPay wallet account on one CNIC.


My CNIC has expired. Can I create an OPay account?

No, please renew your CNIC to create your OPay account.


Can OPay accounts be used in other countries?

No, OPay wallet accounts can only be used in Pakistan.


How secure is the Opay account?

Opay wallet account encompasses the highest level of security. We follow the regulations of the State Bank of Pakistan. Each Opay wallet account has a 4-digit secret code which is required for each transaction. All transactions from the Opay wallet account are encrypted for security purposes. No transaction can be made without this code, that has to be entered from your Mobile number. Therefore, please make sure that you set up a secure code and never disclose it to anyone.


What if my mobile device is lost or stolen?

If you lose your mobile device, your Opay account will remain secure with the help of your 4-digit code. If you feel the need to block your account after losing your device, you can call us at the helpline 042 32597000. Please note that Opay will never ask you for any sensitive information like your code or OTP via phone, SMS, or email. Please do not share this information with anyone to keep your account secure.


How to log in to the OPay app?

You can log in to your app using the OPay wallet account PIN by following these steps:
1. Open the OPay wallet app on your mobile phone and enter your mobile number
2. Then enter the PIN to log in to your OPay account.


What is my OPay account number?

Your OPay wallet account number is the same as your mobile number.


What if I forget my PIN and can't log in?

You can reset your PIN by receiving an OTP to verify.


What are the various services being offered by Opay wallet account?

Can I transfer ownership of my Opay account?

No, you cannot transfer your Opay wallet account. But you can terminate your account if you want.


How long will my Opay account become dormant (Temporarily blocked) due to inactivity

If you don't use your Opay account for a period of 12 consecutive months, your account will be temporarily blocked. In order to reactivate your account, please call the helpline at 042 32597000 where you will be verified as its user and your account will be restored instantly.

What is my OPay transaction history?

Transaction history is a record of all the transactions made to and from your OPay account.

You can check all the transaction history of your OPay account from the app.


How can I get my transaction receipt?

The transaction receipt will be generated automatically on the OPay app after a transaction has been successfully performed. You can save it in your photos or as a PDF file.


What are the charges for adding money to an OPay account through bank card?

Most of the transactions are free on OPay. For certain transactions, like adding money to your OPay account, 3% including FED will be charged.

What is the transaction limit?

For Level 0 users
• Rs. 50000 per day

For Level 1 users
• Rs. 400000 per day
• Rs. 400000 per month
• Rs. 4800000 per year
For Level 2 users
• Rs. 1000000 per day
• Rs. 1000000 per month
• Rs. 12000000 per year


What is the limit of adding money through bank card per day/month?

The maximum limits are as per the daily monthly, and yearly limits of your Opay account. Both cash in and out have separate limits.

You can pay for electricity, gas, telephone, water, and a variety of other utility bills.
